Cee Lo Green has been booked for allegedly giving an ex-girlfriend ecstasy before having sex with her last year (12). The singer, real name Thomas DeCarlo Callaway, was booked shortly after pleading not guilty to the charge on Monday (22Oct13) in a Los Angeles court and posted $30,000 (£20,000) bail, according to TMZ.com.
Before the hearing, prosecutors dropped a charge of sexual assault against Green on the grounds of insufficient evidence.
The plaintiff alleged Green had spiked her drink during a party last November (12) and she later woke up naked in a bed with him in the room.
Green is due back in court next month (Nov13) and faces four years in prison if convicted.
