‘Chainsaw Massacre’ Tops Horror-Film Poll

Shock horror classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre has beaten The Exorcist and
The Silence of the Lambs to claim the scariest film of all time in a new
magazine poll.

The 1974 film, about stranded youths running from a family of terrifying
masked cannibals, has topped the new “25 Scariest DVD Ever” list in magazine
Giant.

The top 10 is:

2. The Silence of the Lambs

3. The Exorcist

4. Night of the Living Dead

5. Audition

6. Hellraiser

7. The Fly

8. Suspiria

9. Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer
