Chris Brown’s Halloween show cancelled

The organisers of a Halloween party gig in New York have been forced to scrap the event because embattled R&B star Chris Brown can no longer appear. Brown was arrested following a fight outside a Washington, D.C. hotel on Sunday (27Oct13) and he spent Monday in court fighting assault charges. He pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanour and was released on bail.
But it appears the events of the past three days have upset the Kiss Kiss singer’s plans to headline the 92.3 NOW’s Halloween show on Tuesday night (29Oct13) – and event bosses have now pulled the plug on the gig.
Announcing the news in a statement, they wrote, “Unfortunately, due to recent events, 92.3 NOW’s Halloween show scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 29 has been cancelled. Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster will be refunded in full.”
The gig was supposed to be reunited girl band Danity Kane’s comeback show – they were billed as Brown’s opening act.
