Gabrielle Union jokes baby daughter has better style than her

Gabrielle Union has insisted her daughter Kaavia James has better style than she does.
The Being Mary Jane star and her husband Dwyane Wade welcomed their firstborn via surrogate in November last year (18), and since then, Gabrielle has created an Instagram account for the tot that documents her daughter’s day-to-day life.
However, she told People that her daughter Kaavia James is now outshining her in the style stakes.
“Dwyane and I thought we knew how to serve a look until Kaavia James came through to show us how it’s done,” Gabrielle laughed. “Mama is just trying to keep up!”
Earlier this year, the America’s Got Talent judge launched a baby collection with frequent collaborators New York & Company named after her daughter and also created a Mommy & Me line so she can twin with the nine-month-old.
“I can’t wait to show her the pieces from her own Kaavi James collection which were inspired by her so I plan on holding on to those,” she gushed, adding that her choices don’t always work for her energetic tot. “Kaavia has a very distinct personality and she’s very active so often what I think looks great isn’t practical for her.
“While I love twinning with her, I cannot wait to encourage her to express her individuality.”
