British author J.K. Rowling, scribe of the immensely popular Harry Potter series, has wed for the second time, Reuters reports.
In a private ceremony in their Scotland home, the 36-year-old millionaire writer tied the knot with 30-year-old doctor Neil Murray.
According to Rowling’s agent, only “immediate family attended the wedding.”
Rowling, whose success stems from her four Harry Potter novels about a boy who realizes he has wondrous magical powers, has promised three additional novels based on the same character. Rowling’s first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, was recently made into a record-breaking box office hit.
