The What Women Want star will become the first-ever female recipient of the Golden Eye Award in Switzerland on 21 September (12).
Festival executive Karl Spoerri tells trade publication Variety, “Helen Hunt is one of the most talented and gracious actresses on screen today. We are excited to celebrate her remarkable career at the festival this year.”
Other celebrities to be honoured at the event include Richard Gere, who will pick up the Golden Icon Award, and John Travolta, another winner of the Golden Eye Award.
