Actor Idris Elba once worked as a prank call expert at a pirate radio station in London. The Thor star, who started his career as a wedding DJ when he was a teenager, has revealed he used to host a show from the top floor of a high-rise building.
He says, “That’s where the aerials could go, so you’d literally go up to the 25th floor and you’d DJ there. They had a whole set up there but if you got caught, you had to run, leave everything you could and just get out of there.
“I used to do the prank calls; I used to call up Chinese restaurants and order Jamaican food.”
