Funnyman Jack Black is heading to the web for a new comedy series about ghost hunters. The School of Rock star has teamed up with bosses at Internet giant Yahoo! and Shine America to produce Ghost Ghirls, about an inept pair of paranormal investigators.
Co-creators Amanda Lund and Maria Blasucci star as the female double-act, while Black will make guest appearances in the online series, which is billed as a spoof version of TV shows such as Medium and Ghost Whisperer.
The show is due to premiere in autumn (13).
