Harry Potter star Jason Isaacs is returning to his villainous roots after landing the role of a Satanic cult leader in the TV remake of classic horror movie Rosemary’S Baby. The British actor, who played sinister Lucius Malfoy in the wizard film franchise, will portray creepy Roman Castevet in the small screen adaptation of Roman Polanski’s 1968 movie.
Zoe Saldana will play Rosemary Woodhouse, the part made famous by Mia Farrow. Castevet is Rosemary’s eccentric neighbour who turns out to be hiding a dark secret. The role was originated by Sidney Blackmer.
The 2014 version will be filmed in Paris, France.
