Jenny Seagrove’s horse sanctuary ransacked

British actress Jenny Seagrove has been left heartbroken after thugs broke into her horse sanctuary and stole expensive equipment. The A Chorus of Disapproval star has set up Mane Chance in Surrey, England, which aims to rehome abused or abandoned horses.
The official opening took place on Sunday (25Aug13), but it was marred by a break-in on Saturday (24Aug13), when the sanctuary was ransacked.
Seagrove tells Britain’s Daily Mail, “I am devastated. The thieves took away our brand-new £6,000 quad bike plus £2,000-worth of farm equipment.
“I know people steal things, but we are such a small, young charity and everything is still such a struggle. Having all our equipment taken is a real kick in the guts. Of course, we have insurance, but we desperately need to replace our equipment now.”
