Former Olympian Johnny Weir has filed for divorce from his husband Victor Weir-Voronov. The gay ice dancer, who served as a U.S. TV pundit for the recent Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, announced the split in a statement to Access Hollywood on Wednesday (19Mar14).
He said, “It is with great sadness that I announce that my husband and I are no longer together.
“I have been sad for a long time, and unfortunately don’t foresee a way to resolve our current marital issues.”
The couple wed on New Year’s Eve (31Dec) in 2011.
