Justin Lee Collins convicted of harassment

The TV presenter was ordered to carry out 140 hours of unpaid work in his local community after he was convicted of staging a campaign of controlling behaviour for seven months in 2011.

A court in St Albans, England heard during the trial that Anna Larke accused Lee Collins of ordering her to sleep facing him, forcing her to compile a list of all her previous lovers, and making death threats against her.

The comedian had denied her accusations, branding Larke a compulsive liar, but was found guilty of harassment causing fear of violence by a jury on Tuesday (09Oct12) following three days of deliberations.
