Comedian Kevin Hart wasn’t laughing when he was pulled over by police in California on Sunday morning (14Apr13) and arrested on suspicion of DUI. Reports suggest traffic cops stopped him after he was spotted speeding and “driving erratic” in his black Mercedes on a freeway at just after 4am local time.
A California Highway Patrol spokesman tells TMZ.com he was “going 90 MPH” and “almost collided with a gas tanker truck.”
He showed “objective signs of intoxication” and was “unable to perform field sobriety tests,” according to the CHP.
He was booked into jail for misdemeanour DUI and is currently being held on a $5,000 (£3,125) bond.
