Tiger Woods’ skier girlfriend Lindsey Vonn has withdrawn from the upcoming Olympic Winter Games in Russia. The 29-year-old American athlete was set to compete at the 2014 Sochi games next month (Feb14), but a knee injury stemming from a fall during a race in France in December (13) has forced her to pull out.
She is now preparing to undergo surgery so she can be fit to compete at the 2015 Alpine World Ski Championships in Vail Valley, Colorado next year (15).
Vonn previously underwent an operation last February (13) to repair knee ligaments torn in a nasty fall in Austria.
