Madonna gatecrashed Noel Gallagher’s 50th birthday party

Madonna invited herself to Noel Gallagher’s 50th birthday party, the former Oasis rocker has confirmed.

In May (17) Noel held a star-studded bash at Aynhoe Park, a mansion in Oxfordshire, England, where guests included Bono, Damon Albarn, Johnny Marr, Bob Geldof, Michael Fassbender, Russell Brand, and Chrissie Hynde.

Madonna also surprised fans by posting a picture of herself at the party with Bono and Stella McCartney on Instagram.

The High Flying Birds frontman has now revealed that the pop superstar wasn’t invited to his birthday celebration, but he let her in after she asked to attend.

“She wasn’t invited but we have mutual friends and someone asked if it was okay if she comes,” he told U.K. chat show host Alan Carr. “I was like, ‘If she must’. She was there yeah. She was on good form.”
One person who wasn’t at Noel’s bash was his estranged brother Liam, 45, who criticized his sibling for not inviting close family.

Ahead of the party, the Wall of Glass singer wrote on Twitter, “Re potatoes (a derogatory nickname Liam uses for Noel) 50th he’s not invited none (sic) of his family not even his own mother says a lot about the man and his part(y) planner pair of w**kers.”

Liam recently revealed he and his brother are now back on speaking terms and would see each other over the Christmas period after Noel “reached out” to him.

The revelation the siblings had called a truce in their long-running war of words, which began after Oasis‘ 2009 split, sparked speculation they would reunite the band.

However, Noel told Alan there was “zero chance” of an Oasis reunion, adding, “No, it’s not happening. We are happy doing what we are doing, or should I say, I’m happy doing what I’m doing. We have done it all. There’s nothing left to do.”
