Rapper Maino is in the clear following an alleged nightclub bust-up after prosecutors reportedly decided to drop his assault charge. The hip-hop star, real name Jermaine Coleman, was arrested in October (14) and charged with misdemeanour assault for allegedly attacking porn actress Mellanie Monroe outside a nightclub in the Big Apple.
However, editors at the New York Post now report Maino, 41, is to escape prosecution after officials at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office decided to drop the case.
The publication reports the charge will be officially dismissed on Friday (06Oct15).
