Marilyn Manson: Wanted man…in Britain

Though rocker Marilyn Manson has an arrest warrant issued against him here in the states, he’s being welcomed with open arms across the pond. Manson has been given approval to play three scheduled shows in Britain later this month, despite the fact that the gender-bending singer is wanted in Michigan on charges of sexual assault, according to Reuters. He allegedly rubbed his genitals on the head of a male security guard at a concert in Michigan on July 30, but Manson dismissed the charges on his official Web site.

“This is nothing more than yet another attempt to run Marilyn Manson into the ground,” he was quoted as saying on a message-board post. “They’ve done it before and they are going to keep doing it until the day I die.”

Manson‘s upcoming gigs in Britain will be held in Leeds (Aug. 24), Glasgow (Aug. 25) and Reading (Aug. 26).
