Meek Mill banned from moving to Miami

Rapper Meek Mill has been denied a court request to relocate from his hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Miami, Florida. The Young & Gettin’ It hitmaker, real name Robert Williams, is currently serving five years probation following a 2008 conviction for weapons and drugs charges, but he has found himself in more trouble in the past year after missing a court hearing in November (12) and allegedly failing to inform his parole officer of his whereabouts.
He recently filed a formal request asking Pennsylvania’s Judge Genece Brinkley to grant him permission to move to Miami, but the motion was rejected last week (ends06Sep13).
However, there was some good news for Mill – he received a glowing report from his etiquette instructor after completing court-ordered behaviourial classes last month (Aug13), and, as a result, he is no longer required to alert his probation officer to his travel plans whenever he heads out of Pennsylvania.
