A woman who accused actor Mike Epps of assaulting her at a party has been named as actress Simone Shepherd. The Hangover star was attending an event at a bowling alley in Los Angeles following the premiere for A Haunted House 2 on Wednesday (16Apr14) when he was accused of striking the woman during a bust-up.
She has now been identified as fledgling actress Shepherd, who has enjoyed roles in several short films and U.S. TV series Reality Hell.
Following the incident she took a photograph, published by TMZ.com, which apparently shows her with a swollen face.
Epps denies hitting her and claims she threw a drink over him and his wife when he asked for privacy.
Police are investigating Shepherd’s complaint.
