British music producer Naughty Boy has fired back at rocker Noel Gallagher after he called Zayn Malik an “idiot” for leaving One Direction.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, the former Oasis rocker called Malik a “f**king idiot” for quitting the boyband in March (15) in a bid to lead a “normal” life and insisted the singer will regret his decision in years to come.
Malik’s pal Naughty Boy has now hit back at Gallagher, saying the rocker will soon have to reform his band Oasis with his brother Liam because he will run out of money as a solo artist.
He writes on Twitter.com, “@NoelGallagher will make up with his brother soon because they will need the money, let’s stop talking about f***in idiots mate…”
The producer was also caught up in a social media spat with Malik’s former bandmate Louis Tomlinson on Wednesday (06May15), which prompted Malik to send One Direction fans into a frenzy when he wrote to Tomlinson, “@Louis_Tomlinson remember when you had a life and stopped making b**chy comments about mine?”
Malik has since written to fans, “Don’t know why I’m being attacked for defending myself, people got it twisted! I love my fans?! Every single one of you.”
