Neeson doubts A-Team will return for sequel

The Schindler’s List star played cigar-chomping John ‘Hannibal’ Smith in the film adaptation of the cult 1980s hit show alongside Bradley Cooper, Quinton Jackson and Sharlto Copley.

Studio bosses put up a $110 million (£68 million) budget for the action adventure, but the film took just $177 million (£110) at the box office – and Neeson insists the lack of a huge profit means movie executives will have shelved any plans for a follow-up.

He tells Britain’s Daily Express, “I don’t think it made enough money. The studio don’t want it.”
