Nervous Viola Davis’ missed out on kissing crush Harrison Ford

Last-minute nerves got the better of actress Viola Davis when she decided to steal a kiss from longtime crush and Ender’s Game co-star Harrison Ford. The Oscar-nominated actress was so excited to learn she’d be sharing the screen with the Star Wars icon she called her The Help co-star Octavia Spencer and told her she was planning to pucker up and plant a big smacker on Ford – even though there wasn’t a kissing scene in the film.
She tells U.S. talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, “I said, ‘Girl, I’m working with Harrison Ford. So I’m going to make a bold choice. In the middle of the scene, I’m just gonna plant a big one on him.’
“She said, ‘Girl, that would be hot!'”
However, Davis’ scheme didn’t exactly go as planned – stage fright got the better of her.
She adds, “By the time we got to the scene… I froze. Yeah, there’s no love scene in Ender’s Game, but trust me, it would’ve fit in there. It would’ve been hot!”
