Actress Nicollette Sheridan is hoping to turn her new holiday movie The Christmas Spirit into a trilogy, so she can make her directorial debut. The former Desperate Housewives beauty teamed up with director Jack Angelo to co-write the festive film, in which she stars as a journalist whose spirit attempts to stop a greedy real estate developer after a car accident leaves her body in a coma.
The Christmas Spirit, which Sheridan also executive produced, is due to air on America’s Hallmark Channel on Sunday (01Dec13) and Sheridan is already making sequel plans.
She tells USA Weekend, “It’s wonderful to have your fingers in all the different pots… I might write the next one and I’ll think about directing another one.”
