Funk and hip-hop stars Outkast are in talks to return to the stage after a long hiatus to headline next year’s (14) Coachella festival, according to U.S. reports. Sources tell Billboard.com that Andre 3000 and Big Boi are close to reuniting for the California desert event next April (14).
The duo has been on hiatus since 2007 following the release of their Idlewild film soundtrack.
Coachella has become famous for landing reunited headliners – the Pixies, Pavement and Rage Against the Machine all reformed for shows there, while the Stone Roses and Blur headlined this year’s (13) event.
