Paparazzi sent drone to get Spider-Man footage

The paparazzi were so desperate to get on-set shots from the new Spider-Man movie, the bosses of one enterprising agency sent a drone camera to shoot behind closed doors in Long Island, New York. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 producers locked down their recreation of Manhattan’s Times Square and felt sure they were safe from sneaky photographers – but they didn’t account for attacks from the sky.
Producer Matt Tolmach tells WENN, “Some guy came running up to us with this drone. We had this enormous lighting structure with lights overhead and cranes and it bumped into one of the wires and plummeted into the set.
“That’s how hard people were trying to get in! You’re kidding yourself if you’re not going to run into photographers.”
