Peaches Geldof was warned about health risks of junk food diet

Tragic Peaches Geldof credited her dramatic weight loss to a significant diet change following health warnings from doctors. Bob Geldof’s daughter was found dead at her home in Kent, England on Monday (07Apr14), but the cause of her death is still unknown as officials continue to carry out tests on her body.
It has now been revealed the socialite shrugged off rumours of eating disorders in 2011 and claimed she shed the pounds after abandoning a junk food diet on medics’ advice.
She admitted she would often gorge on burgers, pizza, and fries but was shocked into slimming down when doctors told her of the effect on her heart.
In a previously unseen interview with Britain’s The Sun newspaper, Geldof said, “I had cholesterol and the doctors said stop eating s**t. So I did. If you stop eating pizza and chips you then don’t look like you used to. Do I really look that thin? Let’s be honest. How did I do it? I just stopped eating McDonald’s and f**king s**t every day.
“I used to wake up with my boyfriend and eat c**p. I had the heart of a 90-year-old gangster… People are like, ‘Peaches is scary and anorexic’. Not really. It’s ridiculous.”
The news came as it emerged on Thursday (10Apr14) that Geldof’s body has been released to her family to allow them to make plans for her funeral.
