Pharrell Williams has scored a fifth week at number one on the U.S. pop charts as he prepares for another battle with Idina Menzel. Williams’ Despicable Me 2 tune Happy missed out on an Oscar for Best Song earlier this month (Mar14) when Menzel’s Frozen theme Let It Go claimed the gold – and now the two stars are set for another battle on the Billboard Hot 100.
Menzel’s song has charged into the new top five and she is expected to challenge for the number one spot next week.
Meanwhile, John Legend’s All of Me climbs to two on the countdown, switching spots with Katy Perry’s Dark Horse.
