Potter star Waylett charged in connection with London riots

The 20 year old, who starred as Hogwarts bully Vincent Crabbe in the wizard franchise, is accused of handling a petrol bomb during clashes in Chalk Farm in the U.K. capital. He has also been charged with allegedly stealing a bottle of champagne during mass lootings of a supermarket.

He is also accused of growing cannabis after police officers arrived at his house to arrest him and allegedly discovered 15 plants in the bedroom of his North London home, according to Britain’s The Sun.

Waylett appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on 29 September (11) and will return to court again in November (11).

He was arrested in 2009 for the illegal production of cannabis and was handed 120 hours community service after cops found he was growing 10 cannabis plants.

Waylett’s character was written out of the series’ final two-part installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, following the incidents.
