R&B star Akon has been slapped with a $125,000 (£78,125) lawsuit by Australian entrepreneur Patrick Grove for allegedly cancelling his performance at a private party. The Smack That hitmaker was reportedly scheduled to hit the stage at Grove’s birthday party in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last April (13).
Grove claims he paid Akon’s fee up front, only to have the singer cancel two days before the celebration, according to TMZ.com.
