Country music star Randy Travis is still struggling with his speech nearly a year after he suffered a stroke. The On the Other Hand singer was struck down by a debilitating stroke in July last year (13) and had psychical therapy to help restore his motor functions. Although he has made progress and can now walk with a cane, it has emerged that he is still struggling to talk.
Editors at TMZ.com report Travis has not regained his speech, almost a year later.
The singer’s representative confirmed the news and added that a therapist hopes Travis will recover and make a return to the stage in the coming years.
