San Francisco’s 100-year-old Castro cinema has been named the world’s number one movie theatre in a new poll. Editors at Men’s Journal magazine have compiled a list of The Top 20 Movie Theaters In The World, and the historical California landmark beat out the worldwide Secret Cinema and the Kennedy School Theater in Portland, Oregon.
Sol Cinemas in Wales and the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas also made the top five, while film Meccas in Sydney, Australia and Oslo, Norway made the top 10.
