Meet The Spartans star Sean Maguire is set to play another legendary historical figure after signing on to replace actor Tom Ellis as Robin Hood on TV in America. The former British child star has joined the cast of fairytale drama Once Upon a Time, according to TVGuide.com.
He’ll have a recurring role on the show.
It’s not the first time the one-time Grange Hill star has played a hero onscreen – he portrayed King Leonidas in 300 spoof Meet The Spartans and Prince Charming in a U.S. TV movie.
Maguire also landed the lead in TV series Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire.
