The Pogues star Shane Macgowan is to make a cameo appearance in an upcoming episode of beloved British soap Coronation Street. The Fairytale of New York singer’s longtime partner Victoria Clarke broke the news by posting pictures of her man enjoying a drink in the show’s fictional pub the Rovers Return with Street regular Chris Gasgoyne on Facebook.com.
And now sources claim MacGowan’s appearance on the show will air during Coronation Street’s 20 December (13) episode.
