The busty actress became aware of the Foundation at a young age when a girl in her first grade class fell sick with a life-threatening illness.
She recalls, “She was involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and her wish was to meet Erik Estrada from (TV show) CHiPs. I got to meet Erik Estrada years later and I said, ‘I don’t know if you remember this but there was this really moving thing that you did,’ and he said, ‘Of course I remember!’
“I was just really impressed with the organisation and I was really excited to get to work with them.”

Hendricks has teamed up with cosmetics company Latisse to raise money for the charity and offer young fans the chance to join her on the Mad Men set.
