Sinead O’Connor shows off new face tattoos

Irish singer Sinead O’Connor has shown off two new tattoos – on her face. The Nothing Compares 2 U has had the letters ‘B’ and ‘Q’ inked on each of her cheeks in red ink, and she debuted the designs during her performance at Britain’s Bestival music festival on Friday (06Sep13).
In a cryptic post on her blog entitled ‘Face Tattoo’, the 46 year old has addressed comments about the tattoos, revealing they are the initials of someone named Brendan Quinlan.
She wrote, “Brendan Quinlan.. ‘It’s what it is’ .. Un ange passe (an awkward silence)…”
It is not clear who Quinlan is.
The letters aren’t O’Connor’s only body art – she has a tattoo of Jesus Christ on her chest, Bob Marley lyrics on her hand, a lion on her left shoulder as well as several other designs all over her arms.
