Sir Roger Moore battled secret bout of pneumonia

The James Bond legend opened up about his problems during an appearance on Britain’s The One Show on Friday night (05Oct12) and told presenters Alex Jones and Matt Baker that he was on a “tremendous” amount of antibiotics in a bid to shift the illness.

Moore subsequently regained his health, but the medication has caused his hair to start falling out.

He recalls, “I had double pneumonia earlier this year, and a tremendous amount of antibiotics, and since then my hair has been falling out. It gradually falls out every day.”

Moore previously battled pneumonia as a five year old and was on the brink of death in hospital before making a recovery.
