Superman babies relieved themselves all over Russell Crowe

Director Zack Snyder gave Russell Crowe a real taste of the unpleasantness of fatherhood on the set of new Superman movie Man Of Steel – each of the four babies chosen to play his infant son Kal-El in the film relieved themselves while the Gladiator star was holding him. Due to filming laws, Snyder had to hire four newborns for scenes with Crowe as Jor-El and the movie star admits he experienced all manner of toilet trouble with the bare babes.
He tells WENN, “I had a very interesting experience being a father on this movie… Unlike in my own experience as a father of two, I’ve managed to dodge all the p**s and the poo! I’m pretty slick with a nappy. But on this movie I got p**sed on, which was a little inconvenient.
“Then the topper happened under those hot lights; it was after lunch, which was to be expected, and I got a handful of the essential Kryptonian material (faeces) so I learned a lot! I had new experiences as a parent on this movie that I hadn’t previously had, so thank you Zack!”
