Sylvester Stallone Returns for Rambo V

Executives at German movie company Splendid Films have confirmed Sylvester Stallone has started work on a fifth Rambo movie.

A press release from the production bosses suggests Stallone is writing the screenplay and will star as one-man army John Rambo.

The statement reads: “With Rambo V, Sylvester Stallone returns in his iconic role. This time he goes up against a Mexican cartel. Stallone… describes the new Rambo as his version of No Country for Old Men.”

Stallone’s first Rambo film, First Blood, was released in 1982. The last Rambo film hit cinemas in 2008.
