The Young & the Restless leads Daytime Emmy Awards nominations

Hit U.S. soap The Young & The Restless will lead the pack at the 41st annual Daytime Emmy Awards in June (14) after picking up 26 nominations on Thursday (01May14). Officials at America’s National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences also handed The Bold and the Beautiful 18 nods, General Hospital 16, and Sesame Street 15.
The Dr. Oz Show, Dr. Phil and Steve Harvey are up for Outstanding Informative Talk Show, while The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Live! With Kelly and Michael, Rachael Ray, The Talk and The View will battle it out for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show.
DeGeneres’ programme leads the celebrity-centred shows with nine nominations.
The Daytime Emmy Awards will take place on 22 June (14) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
