John Travolta, Sylvester Stallone, Dustin Hoffman and Cher were among the celebrities who attended VH1’s “Rock to Erase MS” on Friday at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. According to People magazine, Hoffman said he attended the event because his mother-in-law, his guest for the evening, suffers from multiple sclerosis. Also present at the event were designer Tommy Hilfiger, whose sister suffers from the disease, and Montel Williams, who has MS.
