Vince Gilligan to make acting debut on Community

Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is set to make his acting debut on U.S. TV show Community. Gilligan will play a gold digger who helps to escalate a fight between Alison Brie and Danny Pudi’s characters, according to EW.com.
The episode featuring Gilligan has already been filmed and will air next year (14).
Gilligan is following in the footsteps of Breaking Bad star Jonathan Banks, who joined Community for an 11-episode arc in the upcoming fifth season, which premieres on 2 January (14).
Incidentally, another Breaking Bad alum, Anna Gunn, also announced on Monday (04Nov13) that she will be making a guest appearance on The Mindy Project. The Emmy winner will be playing a high-profile New York doctor at odds with Mindy Kaling’s lead character.
