Disney CEO Michael Eisner told today’s Wall Street Journal that Monday’s investor pessimism was unwarranted: “I think it underestimates the strength of the American system,” he said. Viacom Chairman Sumner Redstone declared: “I think the world is going to return to normalcy much more quickly than people realize.”
