Sports, game shows, and news magazines squeezed out virtually every network drama and comedy show from the Nielsen top 10 last week. Only CBS’s Everybody Loves Raymond made the list. NBC–a latecomer to reality programming–was the most-watched network, averaging a 5.8 rating and an 11 share. CBS was close behind with a 5.7/11. ABC, thanks to three editions of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire that made the top ten, placed third with a 5.4/10. Fox wound up fourth with a 4.9/9, its overall average boosted by ratings for the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, which attracted the week’s biggest audience.
