America’s winter storm nightmare has shut down production on the latest The Hunger Games sequel and shooting on TV drama The Vampire Diaries in Atlanta, Georgia. Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Julianne Moore and their The Hunger Games: Mockingjay castmates were given time off on Wednesday (12Feb14) as the city came to a standstill after a snow and sleet storm pelted the area.
More than 400,000 homes and businesses in the state were left out of power.
TV shows The Originals, Drop Dead Diva and Devious Maids, which also shoot in the Atlanta area, have also been halted because of the storm.
