Actress Zoe Saldana is reportedly in early talks to portray singer Eartha Kitt on the big screen. The Avatar star is the front-runner to star in the untitled film, which will chronicle the life of the Santa Baby hitmaker, according to the Telegram.com.
The movie is reportedly in its early stages and no other details have been released.
If the project comes to fruition, this won’t be the first musical role Saldana has taken on – she will portray Nina Simone in a forthcoming biopic.
Kitt passed away from colon cancer in 2008.
