Dingo accused of attacking schoolboy

Dingo, who has appeared in several movies including a cameo role in Crocodile Dundee II, was in Carnarvon, Western Australia last month (Jul10) to celebrate the National Aboriginal Islander Day Observance Committee Week.

It is alleged he struck the unnamed schoolboy in the face as the lad’s horrified classmates looked on.

The actor, who has also presented Australian TV series The Great Outdoors since 1993, has been charged with aggravated common assault and is due to appear at Carnarvon Magistrates Court on 11 October (10).

Responding to the claim, Dingo says, “I deny it, but until there is an outcome I can’t really talk about it.”
