Antonio Banderas joins The Expendables 3

Sylvester Stallone is adding a little Latin flavour to the forthcoming The Expendables sequel after recruiting Antonio Banderas to join his all-star line-up. The Rocky star recently revealed Harrison Ford had stepped in to replace Bruce Willis in the action-packed franchise, which will also feature Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nicolas Cage, Wesley Snipes, Jackie Chan and Jason Statham, and now he has unveiled the latest addition to the team.
Stallone announced the latest casting news on Friday (09Aug13), when he referred to The Mask of Zorro star as “a consummate actor and a gentleman”.
Mel Gibson was previously confirmed to play villain Barney Ross in the third installment of the franchise, which is scheduled for release next year (14).
