Actor and singer Bob L. Harris has died, aged 91. A former member of the Ray Charles Singers choral group, Harris passed away on Friday (14Feb14).
A TV regular, he also appeared on The Fred Waring Show and The Entertainers and teamed up with Carol Burnett in TV movie Calamity Jane.
Harris also acted opposite his Oscar-winner son Ed in the films Riders of the Purple Sage and Appaloosa.
He also served as manager of the Oklahoma City Symphony, the Cedar Rapids Symphony in Iowa and the Orchestra of Illinois.
