Filmmaker Noel Black dies at 77

Filmmaker Noel Black has died at the age of 77. The director passed away at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California on 5 July (14), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
He was best known for his film Pretty Poison, which starred Anthony Perkins and Tuesday Weld.
Black was also nominated for a Best Short Film Oscar in 1966 for Skaterdater.
In addition to his film work, he also directed episodes of TV series The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, Hawaii Five-O and the 1980s version of The Twilight Zone.
