After a rousing performance at the 2013 Grammys, Mumford & Sons took home the Best Album of the Year award for their work on 2012’s Babel.

Babel beat out The Black Keys’ El Camino, fun.’s Some Nights, Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange, and Jack White’s Blunderbuss.
Mumford & Son’s second album debuted at No. 1 in the UK and US, becoming the fastest-selling album of 2012 in the UK, and the second-biggest selling debut in 2012 in the US.

Mumford & Son’s win follows previous nominations in 2010 for Best New Artist and Best Rock Song (“Little Lion Man”). Their Best Album award follows in the footsteps of Adele’s 21 (2011), Arcade Fire’s The Suburbs (2010), and Taylor Swift’s Fearless(2009).
